Steve Oberman, Managing Partner

Steve Oberman has been in practice for over 30 years and has successfully represented thousands of clients charged with criminal offenses. He has also assisted clients in obtaining expungement of over 1000 cases. Steve is the author of two legal textbooks and is a popular speaker at criminal defense seminars throughout the United States and abroad.

 

 

 

Sara Compher-Rice, Partner

Sara Compher-Rice began practicing with Steve Oberman in 2002 following her graduation with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Since that time, she has devoted her practice to those charged with criminal offenses. Among her other honors, Sara serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (TACDL).

 

 

 

Arrin "A.Z." Zadeh, Partner

Arrin "A.Z." Zadeh joined the Oberman & Rice Law Firm in 2014 after impressing both Steve and Sara with his achievements at the Public Defender's Office. After three years at Oberman & Rice, "A.Z." was asked to become Partner. Aside from representing clients charged with various different criminal offenses at Oberman & Rice, "A.Z." also handles most of the expungements.
